In an increasingly divisive world, many people are looking for unity and purpose to help guide their way. Compassion and respect are much more important now than ever before. Freemasonry is one of the oldest social and charitable organisations in the world, open to those of all backgrounds.
The organisation’s aim is empower members to be the best they can be, both for themselves and society around them. It does this by providing a structure of support to help them make positive contributions to their local communities, whether it be through fundraising events or volunteer work. In an uncertain world, the Masonic principles of integrity, respect and charity ring as true today as they ever have before.
Freemasonry is intended to offer those who are members the opportunity to make themselves better individuals and demonstrate to others that they are kind, considerate and charitable to those less fortunate than themselves, irrespective of whether they are Freemasons or not. We are not a religion. Our beliefs are compatible with all religions which believe in a Supreme Being.

Freemasonry also offers the opportunity to make new friends and to meet old ones on a regular basis, together in pursuit of a moral lifestyle that we believe is developed through our association.

SOME BASIC PRINCIPLES OF THE ORDER
1. A belief in the Supreme Being.
2. The Volume of the Sacred Law will always be open in the Lodge.
3. Obedience to the law and allegiance due to the Sovereign / Head of State of your native land.
4. There will be no discussion on theological or political questions
within Freemasonry.
